"This is the Small Faces as they should be heard." KENNEY JONES
The new edition of 'There Are But Four Small Faces' is a lavish recreation of the band's Immediate Records debut in America in 1968.
Compiled from stereo versions and different takes of songs from the UK mono 'Small Faces' LP plus stereo mixes of US hits 'Itchycoo Park' and 'Tin Soldier' plus 'Green Circles' and 'Here Come The Nice', the LP is considered by many to be the band's most complete album.
Fully illustrated sleeve notes by American music journalist and author Ken Sharp has exclusive interviews with Olympic Studios engineer George Chkiantz, fellow Immediate Records artist PP Arnold, renowned photographer Gered Mankowitz and commentary by Eric Carmen ('All By Myself', The Raspberries) and Californian journalist Harvey Kubernik.
The remastered CD version has been expanded to a 2-disc set and features 19 bonus tracks, including a promotional DJ version produced for US AM radio stations plus early mixes and alternate takes.
